Jessica Cruz is the founder and lead photographer of Cruz’s Captured Candids.With a background in youth sports photography and corporate branding imagery, Jessica combines technical precision with authentic storytelling.Her work focuses on capturing intensity — delivering images that feel powerful, professional, and real.Based in Montgomery, NJ, she proudly serves families, leagues, and professionals across Central New Jersey.My passion for photography began the moment I picked up my first professional camera. I was immediately drawn to the power of light, movement, emotion, and storytelling — and how a single image can preserve a moment forever. What started with capturing my son’s sports games quickly grew into photographing full leagues across New Jersey. From there, Cruz’s Captured Candids was born — built on relationships, referrals, and families who continue to trust me year after year to document their most important moments. Since launching professionally In 2018, I’ve expanded my expertise to include professional headshots, branding imagery, private celebrations and large-scale sports coverage. Whether I’m freezing high-impact game action, capturing executive portraits, or documenting milestone celebrations, my approach remains the same: authentic, polished, and purposeful storytelling. I combine technical precision with natural energy to deliver powerful imagery that feels real — not staged.
